There are situations wherein a production operator have to monitor process flow in order to react/provide control input depending on the status of the process. Such situations tie down the operator, preventing him from performing other productive activity. If the process takes a while before action is required, a lot of the operator's valuable time is being put to waste.

With a portable remote control unit, the operator can leave the control panel to perform other work while still being able to remotely monitor and respond to the demands of the process. 

The design of our remote control system implements a handshake between short intervals, depending on system requirement, to ensure the base and portable units are within effective communication range. The default connectivity distance for such systems is in the range of 800 metres to a kilometre but a repeater could be added to the system for longer distance coverage. For distances over two kilometres, we employ LoRa transceivers. Should loss of contact ever occur, LED lights and tone generators indicate such a condition.

The portable unit can be equipped with an LCD display if required, depending on the complexity of the process being monitored or a set of LED indicators for less complex communication/control requirements.

We also provide remote control and monitoring with SIM Card & SMS for long distance applications.

For field requirements such as on farms and wide area yards, we can provided a remote monitoring and control unit complete with independent power supply and solar charging. This solves the problem of having to lay wiring and is the more viable and cost effective solution. The remote unit can be transferred as often as necessary with only the mounting point to an existing pole or wall to consider. 

Our control modules come in different configurations for various applications: 

• The very basic are housed in robust acrylic boxes with mounting holes that can be fixed to doors of control cabinets, walls, or monitor panels. These can also be supplied with magnets for control panel door-mounting.
• For mounting inside electrical distribution cabinets they come with a DIN Rail clip.
• For use in areas where there is considerable presence of EMF, such as inverter drive housings, switchboard & distribution cabinets, etc., we can supply them in steel casings with EMF protection screens and provisions for grounding.
• For environments requiring intrinsically safe equipment and components, we supply them in ATEX Directive compliant casings.
